These hammer-in bushings (M8 metrical thread) have an expansion plug function and a required mounting hole diameter of 10mm. That means you only need a standard tool for drilling!
Function: Inside the bushing is a grub screw, which spreads the bushing at the bottom when screwed in. So it is a kind of a lock system. These items are also very suitable for mounting tremolos which can be fixed in tailpiece mounting holes (e.g. Les Trem or the short Duesenberg Diamond Deluxe Tremola). The tight fit of the bushings also compensates widened mounting holes caused by excessive tremolo use. Set of two.- Lenght: 30mm
