The sound of this Humbucker rather has the characteristic of a fat single-coil or P90 pickup, so it sounds brighter and has more twang than usual humbuckers, but it avoids the unpleasant humming side-effect single coils usually have. Hence it is most suitable for neck-position on rather muffled sounding Les Pauls, but also works well for bridge-position.
