Die Starplayer TV ist das Flaggschiff, bzw. der Klassiker aus dem Hause Duesenberg. Im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Semi-Acoustics beeindruckt eine Starplayer TV mit ungemein seidiger Spritzigkeit, bedingt durch die semi-akustische-Konstruktion mit Centerblock. Durch die wohldurchdachte Pickupbestückung (dem P90-style Domino am Neck, und dem Grand Vintage Humbucker an der Bridgeposition) und deren Kombinationsmöglichkeiten bedienen diese Gitarren ein Soundspektrum, was für erdige Rhythm & Blues und Rock'n' Roll Riffs genauso geeignet ist, wie für puristische Rockabilly-Licks.
